Evan Ryan

Evan Ryan, KickAss Careers Ambassador

Evan Ryan has been interested in the trades ever since he was a young boy. Evan was exposed to the world of trades at an early age due to his father being a welder. When he was around 14 years old, he became fascinated with airplanes and wanting to repair them. And when he found out that he could become an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) he was sold. With this career path in mind Evan entered high school and signed up for the classes that would help him achieve his dream and goal of becoming an AME.

After graduating high school, he enrolled at Canadore College for the Aircraft Maintenance and Structures program. Upon acceptance Evan packed up his things to start a new adventure. Currently Evan is in his year 2nd of a 3-year program and loves every second of it.

When Evan’s off he enjoys playing junior and semi-professional baseball with his hometown team. He also explores some of the other skilled trades including carpentry, he loves to build things. Some of the home projects Evan has taken on include building fences, decks, chairs, etc. When he is not playing baseball, in school, or working on home DIY’s, he can be found golfing and enjoying the outside whenever he can.

Evan feels that the skilled trades are an underrated career path and takes whatever opportunity presented to spread his knowledge and passion for the skilled trades. He is super excited to be an addition to the Kickass team, as he is passionate about being a positive influence.
